The Muktinath Darshan Temple is situated in the western part of Pokhara, Nepal’s Lower Mustang region. It has an altitude of 3765 meters and is located at the bottom of the Thorong La pass (5410 meters), which is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the Annapurna Himalaya region of Nepal. This temple is considered to be the 105th among the available 108 Divya Desam. Muktinath-Chumming Gyatsa is a sacred place for both Hindu and Tibetan Buddhists at Muktinath.
In Hinduism, the place of liberation, or Moksha, is called Muktikshetra. It is also one of the 51 Shakti peethams.

The next day, you will fly to Jomsom and either walk or take a jeep to reach Muktinath. The second option is to drive via jeep or bus, but this will require additional days.
